The performance characteristics of an unstable resonator, rhodamine 6G dye laser module were measured and analyzed. Spectral conversion efficiency of excitation by the second-harmonic of a 10 pulse per second, Q-switched NdYAG laser to yellow-green dye laser emission exceeded 40 percent. Beam quality of the dye laser emission was measured to be within two-times diffraction limited. Author
