Abstract:

The objective of this program Contract DAAB07-72-C-0069 was to develop an uncooled parametric amplifier operating in the 7.25 to 7.75 GHz frequency band with an instantaneous bandwidth 1 dB of 0.50 GHz that has a noise temperature of 80 K or less. The amplifier shall have a gain of approximately 30 dB and be suitable for field use in the ANTSC-54 satellite communications medium terminal.
