Abstract:

The report describes the results of the first phase of a two-phased field assessment of potential Remotely Piloted Vehicle RPV imagining sensors. A manned aircraft experimental program was carried out at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, resulting in experimental data as follows 1 Dynamic System Resolution Data 2 Threshold System Performance Dynamic 3 Field-of-View FOV Search Performance. The basic sensor was a stabilized day television system which was evaluated in three FOVs in two clutter conditions, and for four military targets. Experimental data is presented in the report.
