Thermal Conductivity of Bismuth Telluride in Solid and Liquid States,
ARMY FOREIGN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY CENTER CHARLOTTESVILLE VA
Pagination or Media Count:
Studies of solid Bi2Te3 thermal conductivity at high temperatures, particularly above its melting point, remain practically incomplete. The experimental device described herein features melt qualities, unobtainable with other equipment, and yielding greater accuracy and reliability when measuring solid or liquid state thermal conductivity alone or in conjunction with thermo-emf over a wide temperature range.
