Abstract:

Gravitational-biology experimental procedures depend upon limitations of field effect e.g., buoyancy or recumbency or modifications of field strength with inertial forces e.g., Earth-orbital vehicles or centrifuges. For protracted experimentation on Earth, investigators faced many variables for constructing and operating animal-centrifugation devices, and a few critical requirements for safety and reliability. These are reviewed to benefit investigators contemplating research in gravitational biology.
