Abstract:

The key objective of this development program was to prove the feasibility of applying the HARRIS Electronic Systems Division SPIRAPHASE reflectarray concept to modify the FPS-16 radar for multitarget capability. The goal of the effort was to design, develop, fabricate and test a small nontracking SPIRAPHASE reflectarray which would demonstrate the key advantages and performance capabilities of the SPIRAPHASE approach.
