Abstract:

Two prototype Automated Astronomic Positioning Systems AAPS were developed. The purpose of these prototypes is to demonstrate a relatively fast field technique for determining accurate astronomic position. This report provides a summary of AAPS performance as interpreted from evaluation data resulting from the AFCRL development contract.
