Abstract:

The report gives the results of the wave pressure calibration of the Wave-Wind-Current Research Facility. It is anticipated that most of the model testing in the facility wave channel will be done with 1100 scale models. This corresponds to a 110 scaling of the wave period T, and thus the periods of interest are from T0.5 seconds to T2.0 seconds 5 seconds to 20 seconds in the ocean. Periods longer than 2.0 seconds are shown on some of the graphs just as additional information. All measurements for this report were made at mid- length of the channel. The water depth was approximately 1 34 meters.
