Abstract:

This technical report presents the theory, test data, and test data analyses related to the determination of a Family IID-7A, SN 204, center of buoyancy. The report develops the test data and data analyses into a presentation of Balloon SN 204 center of buoyancy as a function of balloon ballonet fullness and balloon pitch angle. The results so developed are applicable to the assessment of Family IID-7A balloon system dynamic response while in-flight and are necessary for all weightbalance and moment determination.
