Abstract:

The study monitored, via the corneal reflection technique, visual performance of Army aviators while flying incline maneuvers in a UH-1 helicopter. Visual performance, to include time and transition information, was gathered over 13 sectors. In addition to visual data, performance measurements were recorded simultaneously on an incremental digital recorder. Results acquired by both techniques are provided.
