Abstract:

The main objective of this research work was to study the following problems in association with axial flow turbomachinery 1 Cascade losses 2 off-design behavior for compressor 3 erosion phenomena and solid particle trajectories and 4 a new concept for reduction of secondary losses in small turbine quide vanes.
