Convair proposes T3005208 for the baseline graphiteepoxy sys-tem. It is presently under evaluation for numerous large appli- cations, its uniformity and controllability lend it readily to low-cost, automated layup techniques, and it has outstanding resistance to moisture degradation. Therefore, this system is expected to become the major graphiteepoxy material for aircraft applications. Convair has generated extensive design allowable data on the Avco 5505 under Contract AF33615-5257. Convair prefers the Avco 5505 system because of its somewhat higher tem-perature resistance and its extensive history. Author, modified-PL
