The continuum absorption by H2O in several narrow spectral intervals between 330 and 825cm has been studied experimentally. Emphasis has been placed on intervals where most of the absorption results from lines centered more than 1cm and pressures of pure H2O N2 mixtures at room temperature. Results are compared with theoretical results and with those reported previously in the same spectral intervals for samples at higher temperatures.
