The research was concerned with studying the structure, the mechanical properties and the decomposition of Ti and Zr b.c.c. e.g. Zr-Nb, Ti-V solid solutions. The experimental techniques used in this study were electron microscopy, electron diffraction, elastic constant measurements and single crystal tensile testing. The purpose of this Final Report is to review the highlights of the research and point out important results.
