This program was intended to the initial phase of a multiphase program to investigate the use of advanced composite materials on a high temperature aircraft primary structural element. The initial phase covered by this report was to include the design and analysis of two canard structures, one constructed primarily of boronaluminum, the other primarily of graphitepolyimide.
