In performing rigorous calculations involving the thermodynamic properties of air and combustion products, as encountered in open cycle gas turbines, the data tabulations of Fielding and Topps are widely used. These tables consist of specific heat, enthalpy, and entropy data for dry air, as functions of temperature an auxiliary table provides fuelair ratio corrections, also as functions of temperature, for these three thermodynamic parameters. The present tables provide similar data in a slightly more convenient form. The theta functions fuelair ratio corrections are included in the same table as the thermodynamic parameters, avoiding use of two tables, and considerably easing interpolation. The present tables are presented in CHU-K, BTU degree R, and k-J-K units, and also cover a slightly extended temperature range of 200 to 2200 K 350 to 4000 degree R.
