Cost estimating relationships CERs were developed for remotely piloted vehicle RPV airframes. A limited data base consisting of drones and RPVs was augmented with airbreathing, preprogrammed missiles. Logarithmic and linear equations were developed where possible using ordinary least squares regression for six categories of cost engineering, manufacturing labor, tooling, material, development support, and flight test.
