This is part 3 of a series of papers on Schur functions in statistics. The main purpose of this part is to a develop the new concept of stochastic weak majorization, and b to develop techniques to utilize this concept in the field of stochastic inequalities. The authors introduce a stochastic version of weak majorization, develop its properties, and obtain multivariate applications. New results are obtained for the multinomial, multivariate negative binomial, and multivariate hypergeometric distributions.
