Abstract:
This memorandum describes a method of plotting on plane paper a trajectory such that the successive points appear as a line in three-dimensional space. This is another application of a principle which has been known for some time. The method is implemented using a digital computer and incremental plotter and is normally used as a presentation for the relative position of a missile with respect to a target during the interception phase. The method of presentation could be adopted to plot aircraft flight paths.
