Abstract:
A study is made into the reasons for staff changes in the scientific community. Many appear to want advancement or an opportunity to carry out more interesting work others are simply dissatisfied in general. It was found that when scientific staff reach a certain age the desire for change decreases, since, presumably they are enjoying their work and have reached their goal.
