The paper presents a discussion of the stress-strain state of a tube and a hollow sphere revolving in the thermal flux under the action of pressure loads at their surfaces. An expression containing an auxiliary function is derived to represent the problem, and a successive approximation procedure is proposed to solve the problem. A geometric interpretation of the procedure is given and the results are illustrated by numerical examples. Approximate solutions are also obtained with allowance for random temperature dependences of creep.
