Abstract:

The USSR State Board has approved the KS-3563 crane and has recommended it for production. The mobile part of the crane is the chassis of a KrAZ-255B truck, with good cross-country ability, maneuverability, and high traveling speed, which the crane retains. The hydraulic drive is that of a KS-3562A crane with some modifications, which has proven to be reliable, with smooth control of the operational movements. The use of hydropowered extendable supports and hydroblocking of the rear suspension has simplified the mounting and dismounting of the crane.
