Abstract:

The Library Module provides a capability for specifying predefined text to be copied from a library into a source program during compile time. The effect of the use of the COPY statement is such that the COPY statement is replaced in total by the referenced text in the COBOL library. The library facility permits the editing of text being copied as well as the ability to specify multiple libraries at the source level.
