Abstract:

The report presents the proceedings of a symposium on the utilization of organizational indicator data, held in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Sept. 25-27, 1974. Each of the first four sessions covered, in the form of invited papers, a segment of the overall topic history and background, methodological issues, management information system uses, and developmental uses. The fifth session consisted of a derivation activity, in which general points emerging from the presentations were posted and possible action implications were identified.
