Abstract:

The study examines the relationship between situational favorability and the perception of uncertainty and risk in an experimental setting. Seventy- one subjects were presented four paper and pencil simulations of leadership situations based on Fiedlers model. Estimates of perceived uncertainty and risk were derived from a number of scales presented to the subjects following each situation.
