Experimental combinations of geodetic data based on terrestrial geodimeter surveys and Doppler satellite surveys, as reported by Meade of the National Geodetic Survey, were made to explore the degree of consistency of the data. Geodetic positions which best fit the satellite and terrestrial data gave residuals in Doppler positions of 61, 53, and 83 cm in latitude, longitude, and height, and terrestrial residuals of .35 ppm or 19 cm, .38double prime, and .21double prime in distance, azimuth and elevation.
