Abstract:

In contemporary gas dynamics plasma accelerators have a determining role, since only with their help is it possible to obtain the extreme parameters of high-speed and high-temperature gas flows. The basic fields of application of plasma accelerators in gas dynamics are the high-speed wind tunnels and electroreactive motors. In the paper the specific aspects of use of plasma accelerators in these fields of gas dynamics are examined.
