Values are measured of the amplification factors of the products of combustion of acetylene-air mixtures during expansion in a hypersonic nozzle depending on the stagnation parameters and concentration of acetylene in the initial mixture. It is shown that during shock wave propagation in a gas with inverse population density first an increase in the amplification occurs, and then a rapid transition from amplification to absorption.
