Abstract:

The report discusses the significant accomplishments of Project TRANSIM at the University of California, Los Angeles, during the ten-year period ending December 31, 1973. The research and development program is an extension and expansion of earlier work at UCLA and concentrated on further development of general-purpose computer simulation as a versatile and effective analytical tool and expanding its application in an increasing number of Navy management problem areas.
