Abstract:

Tsuverkalovs allergen caused positive intradermal reactions in 85.7 of the patients with acute dysentery. In the case of diseases of nondysenteric etiology, but with expressed allergic component, sharply intradermal tests with the dysenterin did not show up weakly positive reactions are noted in a small percentage of the cases, which is indicative of the preparations specificity. Tsuverkalovs allergen dysenterin is a useful diagnostic preparation and can be recommended for the diagnosis of dysentery under dispensary conditions.
