The change in the physicomechanical properties and color of polyamide fibers under the influence of heat, light and oxygen is attributed by many investigators to radical chain processes arising in the polymer and associated with the formation of peroxides of different structure. Subsequent decomposition of peroxides forms amines, amides, amidines, pyrroles, carboxylic acids, and other low-molecular compounds. The effect of adding stabilin-1 on light fastness of the fiber was investigated in the present study.
