Abstract:
The instrument was inspect0d for compliance with the dimensional requirements of specifications, reference b, for 3-12 flush mounting d-c instruments. The meter was subjected to high relative humidity at both 50c and room temperature for a period of 27 days, and the effect noted on the d-c resistance between the terminals as well as on the accuracy of the instrument as a voltmeter. It was heated to a temperature of 65C and chilled to a temperature of -10c to determine if the humidity seal was affected at these temperatures. The instrument was subjected to a severe vibration test. The temperature rise at the outside of the case was noted after the instrument had been operated at full scale voltage for several hours,
