Abstract:
In this research, a B-scan image simulation method of a ground-penetrating radar mounted on a drone GPR-drone by using high-frequency technique is proposed. The proposed simulation method aims to predict GPR-drone receiving signals in a complex three-dimensional 3D scenario. This research employed the TD uniform geometrical theory of diffraction UTD method including the geometrical optic GO rays tracing technique to find the GPR reflected signal from the ground layer and the underground object. The diffracted ray path of a monostatic GPR is also calculated. The fast Fourier transforms FFT method is employed to find the TD-GPR signal. Three dimensional 3D locations of a drone are considered. The calculated results found that the proposed procedure can be used to predict the GPR mounted on a drone signal .
