Abstract:

The measurement of the direct interelectrode capacitances of vacuum tubes with accuracy, rapidity, and reliability has grown in importance as new types of tubes have made their appearance. The importance of accurate measurements for shielded grid tubes and for tubes employed in ultra-high frequency work has received added significance. This pamphlet describes an improved means and essential apparatus developed for making these measurements.
