Abstract:

To study and analyze the proportion of tactical air units to ground units, Training Circular No. 30 19 June 1945, and Field Manual 100-20 21 July 1943. From this study, to evolve a yardstick for future planning whereby staff planners may draw up a troop basis of Air Force units for a Task Force, and a doctrine for the relationship of air and ground units using weapons of the immediate future.
