Abstract:

The PI developed a combined mathematical-computational framework for fractional modeling of complex physical systems, where the fractional operators can be dynamically constructed from observable micro-to-macroscopic and small-to-big data, albeit of variable fidelity. The proposed research plan emphasized a seamless integration of the following four main research components that form the pillars of our comprehensive data-infused FPDE approach i FPDE Mathematical Modelling, ii Single-Multi-Domain Spectral Methods, iii Operator-Based Uncertainty Quantification, and iv Computational Sensitivity Analysis.
