A comprehensive aerodynamic dataset of a tail-controlled projectile was generated to quickly evaluate and improve understanding of the flight performance of a long-range guided projectile. The method of compiling multiple aerodynamic data sources to generate the dataset of the vehicle was outlined. Navier-Stokes CFD and inviscid Cart3D computational fluid dynamics results were combined with the semi-empirical aerodynamics prediction code Missile DATCOM in a formal manner to improve the accuracy of the aerodynamic model and coefficients. The database includes the effects of both aerodynamic pitch and roll as well as flap deflection on the flight vehicle across Mach number. The generated aerodynamic database underpins both 3- and 6-degrees-of-freedom flight-trajectory simulations.
