Abstract:

The DoD OIG independently identifies the top management challenges after soliciting input from across the DoD, reviewing congressional legislation and hearings, considering oversight work completed by the U.S. Government Accountability Office and other Defense oversight organizations, and examining issues highlighted by the media that are adversely affecting the performance of the DoD. T he DoD OIG also assesses the DoDs progress towards addressing previously reported findings and recommendations from completed audits, evaluations, and investigations.
