Abstract:
This research report is part of a two-stage study for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security DHS Science and Technology DirectorateS and T on the departments approach to management of intellectual property IP. S and T asked the Homeland Security Operational Analysis Center HSOAC to explore the connection between IP functions and missions of the department and its component agencies to document how and when IP supports, enhances, and otherwise provides essential elements of mission success.
