This project aims to explore the innovations required to build the communication infrastructure for next generation many-core computing chips, by hybridizing nanoplasmonic and conventional electronic technologies, with the objective of meeting the increasing bandwidth demands, achieving the desired low latency and power requirements, through the ability to adapt using DDDAS concepts to dynamically meet varying system requirements.
