Background Flow cytometry is an important test in diagnosing hematopoietic diseases. While the test is widely used when clinicians suspect the diagnosis of leukemia or lymphoma, the utility of testing low cellularity specimens has not been studied. Here, the usefulness of performing flow cytometry in minimally cellular specimens is explored.
