The goals of this project were the continued improvement of molecular spectroscopy techniques using molecular ions embedded in Coulomb crystals of laser-cooled atomic ions. The ultimate goal was to devise methods for achieving molecular spectroscopy with single ions. CaH used as the primary test ion for developing the molecular spectroscopy techniques.
