Long non-coding RNAs lincRNAs are polyadenylated RNA species that are more than 200bp in length and are implicated in development of variety of cancers including prostate cancer. In this study we have investigated the precise interaction between SChLAP1 and SWISNF complex components, furthermore studied the effects of SChLAP1 on genome-wide nucleosome occupancy and H3K27Me3 in metastatic prostate cancer. Finally, we have determined the potential clinical utility of targeting SChLAP1, SChLAP1-SWISNF interaction andor downstream effectors as a treatment modality in metastatic prostate cancer, and found that co-targeting Androgen Receptor AR and Enhancer of zeste homolog 2 EZH2 as a promising strategy for treatment of CRPC.
