Abstract:

The broadband ultrafast femtosecond laser system sponsored by this award will be incorporated intoour existing magneto-optical microscopy system with a pump-probe configuration to support our ongoing researchprojects on magneto-optical investigation on ultrafast spin dynamics in diverse topological magnetic materials,magnetic nano-structures, and spintronic nanodevices. Our research projects particularly aim to providefundamental knowledge on ultrafast dynamical behaviors of magnetization and new interfacial topological phasestoward realizing innovative spintronic nanodevices and THz applications.
