Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to provide a review of current Army, NavyUSMC, Air Force, DARPA, OSD, NASA and industry aviation S and T plans, and to assess the use of innovative technologies that increase capabilities, overall mission effectiveness, survivability and lethality, while reducing sustainment requirements. From those reviews, the study team recommended the Army 1 conduct operational effectiveness analyses on system-of system concepts 2 assess heavy vertical lift options 3 revise the unmanned aerial system road map and 4 develop mannedunmanned teaming systems.
