The subject of this thesis is the investigation of the influence of the viscoelastic properties caused by the coating of textile carbon reinforcements on the tensile bearing behaviour of reinforced fine grained concrete. At First modern experimental investigations, called Dynamic-Mechanical Analysis on the bare reinforcement material are described. The collected data is then used to determine material parameters for modelling of the mechanical properties of the textile carbon reinforcement in the framework of the theory of linear viscoelasticity. Furthermore, tensile tests on reinforced specimens were performed under quasi-static loading conditions, loads with higher strain-rates as well as tests under cyclic loading with 106 cycles followed by an investigation of the residual load carrying capacity. The tests showed that the viscoelastic properties of the carbon fabrics have a significant influence on the tensile bearing behaviour which depends on the used coating. The stiffness in the cracked state was affected in particular. The obtained material parameters were handed over to a FE-Software in order to describe the observed bearing behaviour within a numerical simulation. The model was used to examine the effects of temperature loads on the stiffness behaviour in the cracked state.
