Abstract:

The special relationship between the National Peoples Army NVA of the GDR and the Czechoslovak Peoples Army CSLA are, paradoxically may also seem to elucidate most in the West perspective The Federal Republic of Germany - that is, the country which is likely to become the central and decisive battlefield of a war between East and West would - bordered on two member states of the Warsaw Pact the Germans Democratic RepublicGDR and the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic CSSR.
