Abstract:
Previous research on Vietnam-era repatriated prisoners of war RPWs medical and psychological status. At repatriation, a number of gastrointestinal, peripheral nerve, visual, auditory, and orthopedic disorders were identified Berg and Richlin, 1977a Berg and Richlin, 1977b Berg and Richlin, 1977c, but the ranking of most frequent illnesses varied across military services. In 1978, a similar illness pattern was observed among the Navy repatriates Richlin, Rahe, Shale, Mitchell, 1980.
