Abstract:
Recent advances in 3D printing technology nowenable antennas and RF electronics to be designed andprototyped significantly faster than conventionalmanufacturing time scales. New printers and materials onthe market now provide affordable access to RF rapidprototyping. In this paper, tools and techniques are shownwhich simplify the design process for 3D printed antennas, and RF devices. Three example RF components arefabricated and evaluated a Marchand balun, a monopolearray antenna and a Ku-band bow tie antenna.
