Abstract:

This document provides space-specific requirements for specialty engineering to be implemented in addition to the IEEE15288.1 requirements. This 2017 revision supersedes SMC-T-006 2015. Changes include clarifies Mission Critical Fault Analysis MCFA and Test Like You Fly TLYF that were addressed in generic terms in IEEE 15288.1, reinforces the need to conduct program trades with a balance of technical, cost, and schedule considerations. Minor editorial clean-ups were also made with no changes to the existing requirements.
